Hi! I’m Dedi ~~~ the person behind the site, DeesDogCare ~~~ welcome to the Dog Blog. I have no idea as to what you may find in here, as this is simply a place for my adhd thoughts to jump out of my head and, hopefully, stay on the page. I can guarantee that what you will find will only be fun and family-friendly.

If you’ve been to the ABOUT page on DeesDogCare, you already know that I have an adorable dog named KatyBug. Her registered name is actually Snooker’s Diamond Katydid in the traditional naming format ~ meaning that Snooker is her father, Diamond is her mother, and Katydid is her name. Breeders and those who show dogs often use this format because it makes it easier to remember the line that the dog came through. Katy was purchased because I wanted to show her, but being a fledgling, I had no idea that her training needed to start VERY EARLY. So . . . she was never trained as a show dog. My next thought was to breed her and show her puppies, but Katy is nearly 5 years old and I have yet to find a miniature pinscher that I wanted to breed her with. We actually did find one, but he’s since been neutered, so he’s no longer an option. I’m beginning to think that our original plans just aren’t going to happen, but that’s no big deal to us. If it were, I would have just had her bred. Katy is as much a part of our family as anyone; Breeding and showing aren’t necessary for us to love her!

I haven’t quite figured everything out in this portion of our site, so bear with me as I get the glitches worked out.
